Why subscribe?

When I first heard about the amazing achievements of humanity over the past two centuries, I was (pleasantly) shocked. Why didn’t anyone ever tell me this? Progress is something precious, recent and fragile, and it does not happen of its own accord. To facilitate further progress, we need to believe that progress is possible. Subscribe to get positive stories in which I try to understand that world and how to improve it. Apart from all things progress-related, I also write about cultural evolution, effective altruism, philosophy, science & pseudoscience, conspiracy theories (Yes, I'm a bit all over the place).
